My Vitamark Story by April Page
I am a wife and mother of four, living in sunny Panama City, Florida. My greatest passions are God, family, friends and helping others. After fifteen years of a successful RN career, I was tired of dropping my children off at a babysitters and leaving them in after school programs until my shift ended. There was very little time for my husband and I, because he worked rotating swing shifts. We both knew that our family deserved more stability. While I was on maternity leave after the birth of our youngest child, I began looking for something that I could do at home to supplement my income, but would also allow me to be at home with our new baby and available for our older children’s events. So my search began, I found a business that I could do at home and it was my first introduction to Network Marketing.

I wish that I could say that I found Vitamark first, but I didn’t. God saved the best for last! I got my start in that first company,but I wasn’t having the success I truly wanted. Like most, I did not possess the skills I needed for Network Marketing. Then, I found Judith May and the ebook Success In 10 Steps. I read it all in one night after putting the kids to bed and called her the next day. I must say that there was an instant connection. This was the beginning of something special, I knew it, I could feel it. Talking to Judith was like talking to my best friend, she understood and was kind and compassionate. She told me that my lack of success was not my fault. What a relief. Up until this point I thought that there was something wrong with me. Why could other people be so successful in network marketing and I wasn’t?  Yes, I was making some money and receiving a check but it wasn’t the type of money we were looking for to be financially free. Judith then introduced me to her sponsor and mentor, Michael Dlouhy.

The first thing Michael told me was, “You are perfect to do your business just the way you are!” I thought, “Wow! How did he know?” At that point I hadn’t shared with either of them that in my other business I was being told to be successful, that I needed to change into what people thought or expected. I worked hard to hold back the tears. He went on to say, “It is none of my business what other people think of me, it is only my business what I think of myself.” Those two statements were huge for me. They hang in my office over my desk so that I can see them every day.

Why I Chose Vitamark
I first chose Vitamark because I had built a relationship of know, like and trust with Judith May. And second, because I believed from reading the website that I had found a company I could trust with my future, my children’s future and so on.  The management, Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, David Bertrand and Jana Mitcham, had all built downlines themselves and had a record of honesty and integrity. And the third reason is the core values of the acronym LIFE: love, individual worth, freedom and equality.

Where My Dream Took Flight
The Dallas Fly In event was a huge game changer for me. When it was announced I knew I had to be there. It’s where I began to Dream again. As I listened to Art Jonak began to talk about the changes in the pay plan he began to ask, “Who is hungry?” Linda Dlouhy came over to me on break and looked me square in the eyes and said, “You can do this business, I know you can and I believe in you.” And she left me with the warmest hug ever! As Art Jonak autographed my copy of Lincoln on Leadership, he asked me what my goal was and I said, “To be Diamond by Convention.” He told me to read each chapter and think on it so that I may become the leader that people will want to follow. He said he knew I could do it, “Just put your head down and work harder than you have ever worked before!” I left Dallas dreaming of achieving Four Star Platinum and then Diamond by convention!

Doing the personal development and the Mental Cleanse with Michael Dlouhy helped me to believe that I DID deserve success. I feel that personal development is key to your success.

The Products Make A Difference
Thanks to our wonderful Vitamark products I am able to enjoy better health. I no longer have hot flashes or night sweats thanks to VitaWoman. I’ve lost weight and my doctor stated on my last physical that my labs looked the best they have ever looked. Being a Vitamark Affiliate is providing me with the extra income to become financially independent and allows me to be in attendance for all the important events in my children’s lives.

The thing I love most about Vitamark Affiliates is that no matter what their pin level, they don’t mind talking with you and sharing tips and ideas. I love how we are able to work sideline, upline, downline etc. It doesn’t matter, everyone has a common goal to make Vitamark the best. More importantly: The Team! I am blessed with the most brilliant like minded individuals to work with and would not be here without them.

The advice I would give to new affiliates would be:

1. First, know “Why” you are doing this business, have it written where you can read it daily.

2. Second, stay plugged into Vitamark, your sponsor/mentor, the training and whatever system they use for success. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help.

3. Third, work your business and practice the slight edge daily.

4. Fourth, use the tools that Vitamark has available for us.

5. Fifth, and most important, daily personal development and be willing to see yourself and change or get rid of those things that are a hinderance to your success.

6. Lastly, don’t miss any events, it is at these events that your belief grows stronger and stronger and you go to the next level as a leader in Vitamark.

Looking Forward To Our Vitamark Future
My goals are to achieve 4 Star Diamond, Ambassador, then Presidential.  To travel and experience the Vitamark Leadership Trips. Most important to me is to be able to live totally and completely in abundance in every area of my life. And to be able to leave a legacy for my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the generations to come and to help millions to do the same.
